Personal
I was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and went to school in Surrey. From 1973 through 1977 I moved around a bit from Surrey to Kamloops, to Winnipeg, to Mississauga and ended up in Hamilton Ontario for about the next twenty-five years.
I got married in 1981 to my lovely wife Monica, and have four wonderful children now aged from young adults through mid-teens.
In the early 2000’s we fell in love with the Muskoka, Haliburton and Almaguin areas and made the decision to settle in Huntsville in 2006.

Business
From about 1975 through 1990 I worked in the electronic component distribution field holding various employment positions including procurement, sales and management.
In 1990 I got the self-employment itch and started a small electronic manufacturing company selling to automotive related businesses. In ’92 the business got hit hard with the economic downturn. I managed to restructure and see the business through those tough times. In 2000 the business was selling about 2mil/year and shortly thereafter I sold that business.
I understand, first-hand, small business and the cash flow crunch, both on the personal and the business level.

Real Estate
This is a business adventure I have contemplated for several years. I thought it would be a lot of fun to be part of the lives of people and help them to experience some of their “dreams come true”.
Since I started with Re/Max in January 2007, I have helped many satisfied clients Sell and Buy single-family homes, cottages and recreational properties.
I pride myself on gaining the necessary market expertise in my trading area and using this knowledge to educate my clients so that they are empowered to make informed decisions about their real estate assets. While any sale is important, it is more important to me, to understand my client’s overall sell/buy needs and objectives, to be part of their real estate solution.
Quality professional relationships through service with integrity, honesty, and personal care, placing my client’s Best Interest ahead of my own is an essential part of who I am. Earning my client’s trust and respect is how I build my business.
